To design a piece of packaging which encapsulates your given day, 06/06/1944, in a unique way. The packaging is to be sent as direct mail to potential sponsors/advertisers for a new, history tv series. It has to be interesting and engage the person to the extent that they wish their product/service to be associated with the series. The tv series takes a fresh approach to history, rather than simply presenting the information in a narrative format. The packaging has to reference this unique approach. 

The first episode of the tv series is looking at the events leading up to the D-Day landings at Normandy. In order to take a unique approach to the event, the program looks at the deception plans put in place by the Allies during the war. These plans were vital in the success of the war.
